1. Why waste time chasing OBL when there are domestic enemies
that need to be dealt with: Kerry, Cleland, Sheehan, et al?

3. Maybe they were all in on it.
It could be why they can't quite seem to catch him even when he's cornered, then all of a sudden he gets away.

6. It's fantastic to me that they "knew" he did it that same night
And with that assertion, Bush was tucked into bed by 11pm on 9/11 while the nation was sleepless.

9. That could be because Condaleeza got some intelligence
in August warning her specifically about OBL and a terrorist attack by him. You know the one she didn't tell Bush about because he was on vacation? It makes it even more suspicious to me that it was ignored. Or maybe it was more like a confirmation of what was in the works and there was no reason to tell * what he already knew.

13. Oh yeah she needed the flight #'s, seat #'s & frequent flyer #'s.
Then she would have "moved heaven and earth" to stop it.

10. it's illogical

It kind of goes against American jurisprudence to immediately declare OBL the culprit and expect everyone to accept that without question, doesn't it?

7. You might be on to something, when the Prez says to the public
through live broadcasting that he isn't worried about OBL and isn't even thinking about him less than one year after 9/11, you would think some would be a bit more supsiscious about who is really responsible.

8. I been saying that since 9/11
I haven't seen a single shred of evidence that Osama is guilty of 9/11. But in the new Amerikka we don't need evidence now do we. Hell Unka Dick says it's true so it must be...

11. Why didn't we try him
Here's the link to the article on Abbas, mastermind behind the terrorist
hijacking of a cruise ship, he was tried in absentia.

April 16 2003
Achille Lauro terrorist arrested

Abbas, either 61 or 62, had eluded arrest since four of his followers hijacked the Achille Lauro as it sailed from Egypt to Israel in October 1985. They demanded that Israel release 50 imprisoned Palestinians. During the hijacking, his followers shot and killed Jewish-American passenger Leon Klinghoffer, 69. The hijackers then tossed Klinghoffer and his wheelchair off the cruise ship.

In June 1986 he was tried in absentia, convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment for masterminding the hijacking. The sentence was upheld on appeal.

12. No - we all know they are using the war to give them a pass for more
war. I'm sure they'd love to catch him about now. But really - in their grand master plan they need someone the keep the fear alive. They will not turn over every nation who could be harboring him. They are more worried about Islamism and its desire to create a huge Islamist nation from Morocco to Indonesia or the Philippines. So within that framework - bin Laden is just a symbol.

16. He's their perpetual target. They can't afford to catch him.
To catch OBL is to lose a great deal of incentive for support of a war in different nations. Now that support is waning anyway, they need to shore up the little they have left. Catching OBL would take that away. They NEED OBL the way past presidents needed the USSR. The 'good guys' need a 'black hat' to fight to make them look better.

17. That's like saying:
"I doubt the enormous budget defecit has any impact on the economy and jobs, otherwise they'd be tackling it with a vengance."

It assumes that:
a. they know what they're doing
b. they actually give a shit

18. Osama Oswald
The Moranites have asked me why do you and other liberals hate Bu$h*t so much? My answer is this, maybe it's the feeling we have that he and his criminal administration orchestrated 9/11!

There is no way guys with turbans planted all that C-4 into the Twin Towers, and building 7, without raising suspicion. If you believe that those airliners were the cause of that effect, let me conclude your belief with , and the cow jumped over the moon!

20.  I think Bin Laden is the Saudi Pied Piper...
His main job was and still is to get as many opponents to the Royal Family out of Saudi Arabia and fighting someone else - anyone else.

As a side effect of this, the Saudi Government, through Bin Laden, has an endless supply of radicals who really do want to kill as many Westerners as they can. Indeed, if Bin Laden doesn't attack the West from time-to-time, his usefulness to the Royal Family dries up.

So an attack can now be done by radical Islamists at a time, location, and method chosen by the West's largest single investor - the Saudi Government.

We are through the looking glass.

Osama bin Laden captured from Pakistan: claims Iran Radio
--US, Pakistan deny reports

Saturday February 28, 2004 (1245 PST)

TEHRAN: Iran`s state radio has quoted an informed source as saying that Osama bin Laden had been captured in a tribal region in Pakistan.
The radio`s external service, broadcast in Pushtun, said US Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld`s trip to Pakistan on Thursday had been made in connection with the capture.

Contacted by IRNA, an IRIB announcer at the Pusthtun service, confirmed the news, which he said, they had got from a `very reliable source` in Peshawar, Pakistan.

23. They wouldn't dare bring Osama in.
We'd find out too much about 9/11, and how the story we all know is largely a myth.
