Nominating Cindy and Peace House for a Nobel Peace Prize?

How does someone go about making this a formal nomination. I think if anyone deserves it these people do.

The Nominators – Peace
Right to submit proposals for the Nobel Peace Prize, based on the principle of competence and universality, shall by statute be enjoyed by:


1. Members of national assemblies and governments of states;
2. Members of international courts;
3. University rectors; professors of social sciences, history, philosophy, law and theology; directors of peace research institutes and foreign policy institutes;
4. Persons who have been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize;
5. Board members of organizations who have been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize;
6. Active and former members of the Norwegian Nobel Committee; (proposals by members of the Committee to be submitted no later than at the first meeting of the Committee after February 1) and
7. Former advisers appointed by the Norwegian Nobel Institute.

The Nobel Peace Prize may also be awarded to institutions and associations.

2. Here's who can nominate: Process starts in September

I suggest writing to members of Congress, University professors, peace institute directors, and Jimmy Carter, a past Nobel Peace Prize winner for starters, and urge them to nominate Cindy Sheehan.

Perhaps the state forums should all have the question posed as to who in the various state governments might do it.

(I assume that multiple nominations count for something? Or don't they?)

6. It's not enough just to support peace

The Peace Prize requires that the person actually make significant strides in implementing peace. If Cindy met Bush and actually talked him out of the war, that would qualify. If Cindy launched a mass movement that forced Bush to withdraw the troops, that would qualify. Simply protesting or raising awareness isn't enough to qualify for the prize.
