My childhood memories of church are very idyllic. We'd listen from the choir pews, in that little Anglican church, as the minister delivered his sermon. Inevitably, along with pithy quotes from the Bible, it would exhort us to follow one or more of the Ten Commandments. So, on any given Sunday, we choirboys would stream out of church with the words, "Thou shalt not kill!" ringing in our heads.
