Bush: "I'm not meeting with that goddamned bitch!" (-Capitol Hill Blue)

http://www.capitolhillblue.com/artman/publish/article_7267.shtml

"I'm not meeting again with that goddamned bitch," Bush screamed at aides who suggested he meet again with Cindy Sheehan, the war-protesting mother whose son died in Iraq. "She can go to hell as far as I'm concerned!"

Bush, administration aides confide, frequently explodes into tirades over those who protest the war, calling them "motherfucking traitors." He reportedly was so upset over Veterans of Foreign Wars members who wore "bullshit protectors" over their ears during his speech to their annual convention that he told aides to "tell those VFW assholes that I'll never speak to them again is they can't keep their members under control."

Bush flashes the bird, something aides say he does often and has been doing since his days as governor of Texas.

"Who gives a flying fuck what the polls say," he screamed at a recent strategy meeting. "I'm the President and I'll do whatever I goddamned please. They don't know shit."

Bush, while setting up for a photo op for signing the recent CAFTA bill, flipped an extended middle finger to reporters. Aides say the President often "flips the bird" to show his displeasure and tells aides who disagree with him to "go to hell" or to "go fuck yourself."

...

Bush's behavior, according to prominent Washington psychiatrist, Dr. Justin Frank, author of "Bush on the Couch: Inside the Mind of the President," is all too typical of an alcohol-abusing bully who is ruled by fear.

===

I know we often hear that Capitol Hill Blue is over-the-top. Are there any inside-the-Beltway DUers who might be able to corroborate this?

I'd say it's about 98% likely it's a total bullshit story
CHB is notoriously unreliable.

I cannot remember a single story from them that was ever true.

11. Glad someone agrees.
I said I thought it was bullshit in another thread and heard it for awhile from people who bought it.

Not that it's not possible that he says things like that. I just thought the quotes in there were totally silly sounding.

15. Like gossip it probably has a grain of truth somewhere
I have no doubt those who serve in the WH sometimes leak tidbits. No way to accurately source such material.

FOAF are silly but amusing. I sent it on as an unreliable source and everyone I emailed it to said they believed it could be true anyway!

3. I'm not sure how accurate these stories are...but they are entertaining.
I'm sorry, I should be more concerned that the President of the United States is engaging in this kind of behavior. But reading this, it seem like Bush is coming off as Faye Dunaway chanelling Joan Crawford.

I just question the accuracy of this website. It makes for some entertaining "The Star" type reading, though.

9. I only wish this came from a reliable source!
It wouldn't surprise me that it's true. I once worked with an ex SS agent who was on Presidential Detail when Johnson was in office. The inside stories were very entertaining, to say the least!

I just don't think we can trrust CHB.

Not a single story I've ever seen from them has panned out.

You have to admit that such behavior fits right in with the rest of his psychological "profile." And I recall CHB reporting a similar story about him once before.

24. Well, what we do hear
is Bush making a comment about "getting on with my life" which could very well be a sideways revelation of inner circle discussions about how Sheehan should get on with HER life. Bush is prone to oblique comments like this which no one seems to get because no one reads between the simpleton's lines.

That would seem to suggest genuine arrogant puzzlement to her womanly "overreaction" and harping on something Bush has answered "adequately" over and over again, albeit wrongly and inanely.

But we also know that Bush reacts very badly to pressure, appears with marks on his face at key moments(Gore challenge, Enron pretzel, etc.) and gets "snippy" as well. The veneer is so shallow and the hype so overblown that the idiotic press and weak Democratic leadership are genuinely surprised to see Bush thus revealed, or cracking.

Had the pressure REALLY been applied early on we might have many thousands fewer dead, one state funeral perhaps for apoplectic Cheney, and a genuine section 8 for AWOL. I had advocated this earlier, but the DLC had the nation riveted in polite mode until death and tyranny strolled in under a coward's flag. I though pols were made of more cynical stuff but accommodating surrender was added to Lord Fauntleroy's
Rules for Opposition Spokespersons. Idealistic and permissive at the wrong time and cynical at the wrong time. In our small world we call that bad parenting, except for its dogged consistence in propping up the "Presidency" usurpation.
