This is something I just don't get
Every single thing we say....going back 20-30 years if necessary...the pugs hold our feet to the fire. If we change our minds over a period of time, we get called things like "flip flop". It never goes away.
However, when they misspeak (which is often)...it is always painted like we were stupid and read something that wasn't there or wasn't intended ala Rush or Robertson. Then it is all over..it's fine. If we try to keep it in the conversation, then we are accused of just trying to keep the flames going.
I just don't get it sometimes.:banghead:

3. Because that's how long they've been working
to discredit the Dems. It started after Nixon and every year they learn from past mistakes. They now have it down pat. A lot of the main characters in the play on the right are the same old same old.

5. It's called, they own the media. And have, for 20-30 years. nt
Which is why I keep hammering for media reform efforts.

6. I don't get it either.
I remember back to the Kerry/Bush debates. Bush was so unbelievably horrible - it was painful to watch, except that I was laughing so hard that it made it worthwhile. And yet he goes on to "win" the election (yeah, I know, stole, blah blah - he's in the WH and no one seems to care, so what difference does it make?)

It's like that video that Andy Dick put out about people wanting their president to be just like them - stupid.
