1. Good question.

All we have is a conservative Democratic party to appease the "main stream" conservative republicans. You know, Delay, Rove, the bu$h administration in general...

2. read 'up from conservativism' by mike lind
it discusses precisely that flaw in US politics- lind uses scholarly terms, but about 1/4 of americans cannot be represented under the system that forces strict differentiation between left and right, with left for examples automatically pro abortion, pro gay marriage, multiclturalism, anti death penalty (btw, with the bushevik infestation going on, can anyone oppose the old '5 in the noggin' for john gibson or candy crowley etc? even under the phony rules that pertain now, no one can be against death penalty for mediawhore/traitors, shurely!) and all that wishy washy stuff liberalism seems burdened by. Lind's book says this is no accident. Disenfranchising americans who might be liberal about many things, yet demand law and order, and proper schooling, with test scores that work, and accountability in business w/out disregard for common sense ie over-regulation. But the nazipoos saw this 'reagan democrats' angle as something to be exploited, and forcing people to choose between good order over nasty chaos but giving them police state instead (all the while lying lying lying in the bushnews!) the result is a sensation of being left out, and it's very common both among 'rightwingers' and the liberal left, especially working class blue collar liberals (who are thereby silenced...in local coffee shops, a rightwing tabloid type newspaper is most often seen, but a amateur research study by a university student found that outside of the sports and feature news, she found very few who read the rightwing editorials and columns)
one good thing about the bush banana peel is that all this sneaky crap that has been ongoing since the busheviks killed jfk is now becoming obvious, and people are realizing; the old system is for the old boring men, and **k them bush*holes...

6. Every place in the West is a Liberal Democracy. We all believe
in trade and democratic elections. What - have the freepers come up with more new/history! Not again!! I thought I'd died when they put the holocaust at the feet of Woodrow Wilson ..saying it was not Hitler's fault.

5. it's a fascist dictatorship, not a liberal republican democracy
Read about COINTELPRO, REX 84, Operation Garden Plot, Operation Northwoods, Operation Paperclip, the US having a gini coefficient worse than Turkmenistan, etc. Third World Traveler has a lot of useful info. Also, there's quite a bit of theocracy going on in the midst of all the neo-Nazism, look at the Yurica Report for more about the theocratic tendencies.

There is literal demonstrable heritage from WWII Germany, WWII Germany has a lot of demonstrable heritage from the US, and the persecution of the left has been relentless for well over a century and a half. This is no joke. This is real, full-blooded fascism.
