- They don't want to conserve natural resources.
- They don't want to conserve taxpayers' money.
- They don't want to conserve human life (unless you are a fetus or in a vegetative state).
- They don't want to conserve free speech and dissent.
- They don't want to conserve our democracy and legitimacy of elections.
- They don't want to conserve the world's goodwill toward the U.S.
- They don't want to conserve American jobs.
- They don't want to conserve scientific progress.
- They don't want to conserve basic fairness.
- They don't want to conserve clean air and water.
- They don't want to conserve benefits for our veterans and our elderly.

I can't think of ANYTHING even remotely conservative about neocons.

1. "Neo" and "new" can often be translated as "not"
in economics, anyway, where "neoclassical" and "new classical" economics largely reject the ideas of classical economics.

5. They are socially conservative
in fact, they take it to an extreme and insane degree.

Ironic that one of their groups is called "Move America Forward".

Forward? I thought they were trying to take us backward in time?

6. I disagree...I think "social conservatism" means to conserve values.
And claiming to conserve basic values rings rather hollow when it is advocated by mass murderers.

7. Values like child labor, spousal abuse, turning back womens rights
and segregation.

That's how they are socially conservative.

They think that liberal progress has hurt society.

Their either are lost in a fantasy world of the past, or they are liars just using the image of "values" to sell their bigotry.

8. It's not really "liberal progress"...just progress.
Neoconservatives are opposed to progress in general.
