Bush is between a rock and a hard place |

and I love it. Think about it...he's damned if he does and damned if he doesn't. IF he does talk to Cindy he can hardly tell her the truth. It will be the same old tired swill. And she brilliantly has framed it for us already and they know it. If he doesn't talk to her he comes off like the AWOL cowardly snot that he is. Again I'm loving this. His handlers must be shitting themselves trying to come up with a solution to make Bunnypants come out on top of this one.

Our government needs to be responsible in the first place.
I am saddened by peoples' cynicism due to our government's actions (e.g. deficit spending while cutting taxes and giving themselves bonuses while doing nothing or - worse - supporting offshoring...); my own cynicism not excepted.

It seems like the bush* Administration is caught between a rock and a hard place. With the beating of drums for an invasion of Iran with our hands full in Iraq and all. If you do a little research into P.N.A.C., (project for a new american century,) you would be appalled. You will find they, the bush* administration, are following in the footsteps of what is written therein. If the truth concerning this was made widely public there would be an outcry and sure Impeachment of all those involved. I know no one wants to admit that something is wrong here but its time to realize there is a big fat elephant in the Whitehouse and it has no intention of telling us the truth or doing what is right for our country. When we talk about Iran we're talking nuclear weapons being used by the U.S. there. This will be a HUGE mistake for it will possibly draw into the War both Russia and China. Even with all our might we can't win a War on several fronts, not counting the perception of said War in the minds of the people of the world. We are not being seen in a very good light now so you can imagine what it will be like after another invasion by the U.S. no matter what the said reason. We already know this administration will say or do whatever it takes to get their way so why should we allow them to dupe us again? They couldn't get it right in Afghanistan or Iraq so what makes one think they can get it right in Iran.

Iraq and Afghanistan are part of a pincer attack on Iran and Afghanistan helps serve to encircle China. The parts we don't hear about are the (nonviolent) NORTHCOM takeover of Canadian airspace and CIA-sponsored "velvet revolutions" in the former Soviet Republics, in which numerous US military bases are installed. There's weird stuff going on in Paraguay, too, I've seen very little indicating the purpose of or other related operations.
There's a lot more military manuevering going on here than just Iraq and Afghanistan and all the "al Qaeda is the new Emmanuel Goldstein" propaganda. I have no idea what they're planning to do, but I highly suspect it involves getting the US into a phenomenal amount of trouble.

the original rock and a hard place, from Homer's Odyssey.
Next came Charybdis, who swallows the sea in a whirlpool, then spits it up again. Avoiding this we skirted the cliff where Scylla exacts her toll. Each of her six slavering maws grabbed a sailor and wolfed him down.
