Only 26 cars so far @ Camp Freeper, and:
They are pissed.

They can't get cellphone signals downtown (funny--no problem @ Casey I & II).

Even Faux is calling them "Pro-War Protesters"

Hurricaine coverage knocked them off the news.

And more. For Oppositional research purposes, go here:

5. I'm curious-what kind of cars are they driving?
Edited on Sat Aug-27-05 01:02 PM by Divernan
Nothing blows my mind more than when I see really OLD cars or trucks with Bush stickers on them. I want to ask why is a millionaire like you driving such an old junker? Because if you're not a millionaire, ie in that top few percent re income, why would you support a man and administration which repeatedly screws over the middle/working/poor classes, and their children unto the third or fourth generation.

As to the people who took the time to show up to support Bush, I'll bet there's not a country club member or one of his "pioneers" or whatever he calls his various donor groups in the bunch. They, like Chaney, have more important priorities for their time

8. Caught a glimpse of the Fox News Coverage....
Fox was doing their low camera angle, make-10-look-like-1000 thing while some blond bimbo ranted about death threats against the pro-war protesters..

In short, Full Whore mode...

instructions from a crazy hare (bugs bunny) who himself does not know the way to Albuquerque.

I personally suspect they have developed yellow back disease, or rather the chronic condition has flared up

:D :D Now if only they would head towards the threatened Gulf state coasts and continue their pro-war protest. They would get loads of TV coverage there and might even have a chance to reach Rapture land within days.

Which is what ticks me off when folks here assume that Texas is rabidly pro-Junior. Not so. This state is waking up in exponentially increasing numbers. :applause:

someone forgot to keep an eye on Texas. I wouldn't be surprised at all if the shrub actually lost it in the last election.

22. That was info he was given from a lady talking to him by phone
from there, I think she was the spokesperson for the pro-war people. She made sure to tell him about a t-shirt an anti-bush person had on that said 'Bush; liar liar pants on fire' like she was horrified : )!! She cracked me up.

30. I rather think that their calling attention to Cindy Sheehan, Camp Casey,
and the Crawford compound are actually: (1) raising the possibility of a debate in the country about the war; and (2) drawing attention to this criminal Administration in a way that would be impossible if it had simply stayed in Washington, D.C.

The more freepers that come, and the more inane camps they set up, the more the nation is stirring from its catastrophic, deadly slumber of conscience.

31. Bring 'em on!
With them there, the debate about the war becomes and remains news. It transforms the narrative from "Cindy's story" to "America's story".
