If they were to develop a reputation of being disloyal to Der Shrubenfuhrer, they might miss out on receiving the eagerly anticipated invitations to the shmoozefests/brown nosing sessions attended by their puppy dog, ethically challenged, media whore colleagues.

CRAWFORD, Texas -- President Bush played host to the White House press corps Thursday night for a private off-the-record dinner at his ranch.

The casual affair of fried catfish, potato salad, coleslaw, homemade cheese and chocolate-chip cookies followed a tradition in which Bush and his wife, Laura, have the press covering his annual August vacation out to the their ranch in central Texas as a sort of thank-you.

The event was not held last year because of the busy campaign season. The invitations to the reporters were issued on the condition that they not discuss conversations at the event.

Unless they changed something from what ever version was suppose to air last year, then it wasn't completed until this year.

with help, but not interference from CNN. Often they have chosen not to air them. I understand it took them a year to release this.

and the facts are catching up to BushInc, and they know they'll be seen as complicit in pushing the WH propaganda if they don't own up to some of the facts most likely to entrap them.

They had ALL THIS INFO during the election year and chose to sit on it without connecting the dots for the public.

Only the DSM reference is new and the journalists fell all over themselves claiming it wasn't news when it came out last May and June.

Maybe somebody should make a doc about how in 2003 the media at large, including CNN, were 100% with the adim on their policies.

So although this doc was great and probably the best I have ever seen from CNN, most of the CNN people are just going to cover their own asses.
