Turkish Women Support Cindy
Turkish women chant anti-US slogans during a demonstration in Istanbul, Turkey, Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2005. A group of woman from the Union of Women Workers, EKB, gathered in down town Istanbul in support of US peace activist Cindy Sheehan whose son Casey was killed in Iraq in 2004. The AP says they were chanting anti-US slogans, but I'm guessing it was probably anti-Bush.

1. Cindy's role is just beginning
This is a great thing to wake up to this morning. Somehow, I think women will be playing a larger role in ending this conflict than any before now.

Recommended. Thanks for posting!

2. to the hyper patriots in the media
chanting Anti-American slogans IS the same thing as chanting Anti-Bush slogans.
Disagree with Bush = hatred of America.
