Will Bush win another Lottery (tri-fecta)??? |
|
He's going to blame the economy on KATRINA. He's going to blame the high gas prices on KATRINA. He's going to blame huge deficit on KATRINA.
And he may well blame his mess in Iraq on KATRINA.

The Trifecta is reference to his 9/11 quotes.

The Lottery is a game of chance, just like horse racing. Trifecta is in ( ) as a comparison.

6. It's also a "Bush" term... |

Google "Bush" and "Trifecta" and you'll learn why.

It applys to gambling on other games too. It just means that something can be bet 3 ways and you win all three. Like if a league is playing in a tournament and you name who will place in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places correctly - no mistakes. Works well with horse races for Win, Place, and Show, and its great for Jai Ali games too.

Economy, gas prices, and deficit will be blamed on Katrina. I hope people know better than to believe it.

11. Remember all that lunacy about weather machines and the tsunami? |
|
OK -- So I am just NOT going there (that was basically a half joking smart assed remark... although I have had my moments of insanity and this is probably one of them)
How in the hell does this evil so and so keep getting these breaks of luck for himself and his cohorts, at the expense of the rest of us?
Maybe he is the freaking anti-christ (and that's coming out of the mouth/keyboard of someone who doesn't even believe an anti-christ exists!)
It boggles the mind!

of the breaks. Or creating breaks. A saying: When life hands you lemons, make lemonade. He is good at turning our disadvantage to his advantage.
There's no insanity on your part no matter what you think, suspect, or speculate. (What mind can conceive, man can achieve.)

At the expense of everyone else of course!
I just heard on MSNBC that all emergency planning is still " a local event for NO" I guess that means the federal Government is offering nothing in the way of help.

and it's just a local matter?
Never mind, Bush would be busy riding his bicycle or clearing brush. Shouldn't be interrupted for someone else's problem.

16. Well faux news must be reading DU |
|
They made a big point of showing about 20 National guard troops outside of the Superdome earlier. I would say that's slightly lacking for 70,000 people. I know I shouldn't watch faux but I was channel surfing.

|
70,000? Someone said they will not allow people to fill the lower level because of flooding. Did you hear anything about that?

24. I heard either 70 thousand or 77 thousand |
|
I can't recall which. I hadn't heard anything about the lower level not being used but I THINK I heard that the superdome is actually above sea level. What I cannot believe is that the army wouldn't bring generators to the facility beforehand? (actually my hasband brought that up because I wouldn't have thought of it)

The commander in chief?
That, in our case, would be the person who is still on vacation.

that by applying a minimal amount of forethought, G.W. Bush was able to prevent a large contingent of the Luisianna National Guard from being subjected to the harsh onslaught of Hurricane Katrina by expeditiously reassigning members of the organization to Iraq as instructors in the G.W. Bush International Insurgency Training Program.

Gambling, not a good thing for those so-called born again types. Why use the term at all, I wondered? Perhaps because his Born Again patina will wash off with one blast of the garden hose???
