I sure hope the people in the hurricane's path....
don't need any sort of Socialist/government assistance programs after the hurricane gets done with them.
The mantra in America today is that people need to take care of themselves and not rely on any help from the government.
Surely the people can do without unemployment insurance while their companies get rebuilt. And, of course, nobody will need any help from FEMA to get a place to live while their homes are rebuilt.
Now that all Americans are paying less taxes, we have the money to take care of all our own needs.
Where is my screwdriver, I think there are some loose screws around here.

1. Please explain to me, in plain english, why huge fat
corporations need government assistance to first of all, have a reason for being, and second of all to get nobid contracts rebuilding a country ravaged by war that didn't need to be?? Corporate welfare is no different, nay it is 1000 times worse because it depends on the merchants of death to flourish.

2. In simple English, "Follow The Money".
The politicians get rich off the wealthy and then they help the wealthy to get even wealthier.
"It's The Golden Rule"; those who have the gold, make the rules. And the first rule is, the rich get more gold.
Another way of seeing it is, it is the law of "Tinkle-On Economics". Piss on the poor, help the rich.
The corporations are encouraged to get communities to cut their own economic throats to get jobs.
Ain't capitalism grand?
