civil war is breaking out in Iraq, the american economy is tanking... |
|
...the U.S. has become an international pariah, global climate change threatens the integrity of the entire biosphere, and a monster storm is barreling toward New Orleans, one of the most hurricane-fragile cities in the U.S.
The good news: President Bush is living a balanced life. Yippee! Hope he gets some quality cycling time in today....

2. Any chance Katrina could make it to Crawford? |
|
Just asking! Not seriously praying for that (a la Pat Robertson)....Cindy would have to flee, too.

12. No, not the hurricane. |
|
But on the way back from Crawford yesterday, we drove through torrential rain that was probably caused by Katrina.

I wish nothing but the best for the Iraqis and our troops, but I think we are in way over our heads. I fear there will be nothing but mayhem and chaos from now on. The Bu$h mis-administration and it's horrible policies have not only phucked up Iraq and it's people but America and it's people too.The only way to make things better for all concerned would be to get rid of these evil, uncaring, blood thirsty, power hungry, greedy ass-wipes ASAP. As long as this bunch of criminals are running things,it can only get worse. I want to find me a bunker and stay in it until this bunch is gone. I shudder to think of another 3 years of this turmoil and struggling to keep our heads above water. The cost of everything keeps going up,and the only people it doesn't bother is bu$h and his rich corporate buddies and his sheep that are too damn ignorant to see what it is doing to them too. It's nauseating to think that these morons put their politics before their own needs. Oh well.....I guess these gas prices and the cost of living going through the roof doesn't hit their wallets like it does ours. :eyes:

Sunnis vs. Shia and Kurds? Or Shia vs. Shia?
But don't worry about Katrina: if the hurricane hits Baghdad, there will be plenty of Louisiana National Guard there to help with recovery. ;-)
