1) Most people here say they never watch CNN. 2) Most people here seem to be watching CNN this morning.
Does it give you higher ratings? One could say, "definitely."
Of course, it could be just the very fact that Katrina exists and people want to hear about it. But you wouldn't convince a producer of that.

I'm not certain why the "first stringers" are out there being blown around...Miles O'Brian, Brian Williams (almost said Wilson, lol). That seems to be a little too much testosterone-ish to me; all trying to be Cantori. But nevertheless, I'm thankful for the technology. Years ago we just wondered what was happening to the areas hit, and didn't know until it was over.
