45. Well, I don't know about all of you, but
I am having difficulty financially relating to 'Resort and Country Club' as stated in ..."President Bush talks ..... at the Pueblo El Mirage RV Resort and Country Club in El Mirage, Az."

I guess it will be the folks who are able to afford membership to a Resort and Country Club who will be able to afford his 'prescription drug plan'....

I am disgusted!
:sarcasm:

2. Town Hall Style meeting! ROFL!!!
Another Our Leader LoveFest is more like it. I heard MSNBC earlier announcing that they'ld be covering it live. Of course, FauxViews will trumpeting the call as well. And the deception goes on as these networks fail to repeatedly inform their viewers that every person in the audience is a Bush Certified ticket holder.

14. I can.
He's in high gear marketing mode. Kick starting the message before re-occupation of the WH. His numbers are down...WAAYYYY down. Iraq's gone past the shit hole and is heading for the sewer, his SS 'reform' agenda is going to have to be managed behind the scenes in committee with Majority strong arm tactics, he's failed to show America that he can and will use his 'relationship' with oil industry insiders for the benefit of Americans, he signed a record setting pork-laden highway bill into law...nevermind the irony of the Leader Lovers ignoring his pronouncement that "it" (TAXES) will create jobs, he's continued to look the other way and not speak of criminals who are part of his inner circle, he refuses to get tough about the rampant hiring of illegal immigrants and enforcement on the southern border, ... and the list goes on and on.

But give him a chance to put his mug up on TV with red banners of Breaking News! and NewsFlash! alerts, he won't skip the opportunity to remind people that he's still the guy they want to have a beer with. Not to mention 3-word phrases (with duly noted pause for exuberant applause) for sound bytes.

Mr. Flim-Flam Man loves the camera.

12. What is so ironic is that he picked El Mirage
A very upscale community.
However, it wasn't always that way. El Mirage used to be no more than shackle huts full of poor when I lived there in the 70's.
I wonder how these developers got hold of this land and turned it into what it is today?
Anyone know? Was it flooded and then rebuilt? Or was the land merely just taken away from the poor that lived there?

32. I dunno...
But I did notice that he is visiting rather upscale places like there and Cucamunga.

This is typical, of course. I guess his handlers are always trying to avoid a meeting with Bush and Reality.

35. Bush is showing how much he hates New Orleans
New Orleans is 70% black and of course Democrat. They are the most solid voting block in the state and the backbone of Democrat power in Louisiana. 65-percent of Louisiana's voters are Republicans but for over a century New Orlenas has kept the GOP from taking over the state and it infuriates the GOP to no end. In Bush's sick mind New Orleans is receiving God's righteous punishment for having defied "His" will (His being God or Bush, take your pick) and it's Bush's pleasure to ignore them in a disaster while he attends to what for him is the real crisis -getting people onboard a health care agenda that nobody wants.

36. So, in the midst of a national tragedy...
...President Numbnuts thinks it's more important to attend a "let's scare the old folks with the evil liberal socialized medicine boggie-man" rally than go to Washington and DO HIS FUCKING JOB!!! Nero fiddles while Rome burns indeed.

Yes, I realize that there's little he can directly do in Washington, but it's what all the big grown-up presidents did. Hell, even his old man would have gone back.

What a pathetic man, ket alone a pathetic president.

9/11 was on a Tuesday and he didn't show up here until Friday - stayed for ten minutes, made an ass of himself, and didn't return until the RNC, except for a few visits to lie to the UN.

Welcome to DU.

Every time I hear the media and the pundits fawn about how he led this country so masterfully after 9/11 I want to :puke:.

He didn't even show up on Ground Zero UNTIL FOUR DAYS LATER! The most horrendous attack ever, and NO ONE COULD FIND HIM!

Great leader my ass. :grr:
