How bad is it?
You know the 'liberal' Media conspired to help Bush become President.

You know they nodded and said yes when Bush was making the case for war.

You know they made sure that Bush was never at the center of any scandal or controversy.

So, what are they hiding from us when it comes to the Economy?

1. "They"? Feeling a little paranoid this morning?
Can we drill? NO?

Can we force people to buy little tiny cars? YES.

Will they remember this at the polls on election day? YES YES YES.

There you go.

7. 'They' being the 'liberal' Media
It makes the post seem a little less redundant.

BTW, what are you going on about?

2. I am shocked--shocked that you'd think the corporate media
would hide things from us about the US economy.</sarcasm>

Seriously, I believe the US economy is a house of cards.

5. It's been my experience that reporters and journalists know
very little about anything. They don't hide. The problem is they don't have a clue.

12. Shouldn't they have a 'clue'?
Isn't that their job? Shouldn't they at least 'know' something about that which they are reporting.

11. v8.0 actually.

The "Great Depression" was the 7th economic depression suffered in the United States. Big difference between that depression and its predecessors is that most people lived on farms before that. People who grew their own food did not starve in those previous depressions just because they ran out of money.

Q. Why is (in your opinion) liberal economics so much better than conservative economics?

A. Why? I have some theories, but I can't say for sure. And why doesn't change the FACT that we averaged an economic depression once every 20 years during 150 years of conservative economics and ZERO in the 70 years since the introduction of liberal economics.
