Bush's "Noble Cause" (whatever it turns out to be) is anti-American.
America was formed by a revolution against the nobles of Europe. Our founding fathers were the most humble men in the world. They didn't even campaign for public office. The less Washington, Adams and Jefferson wanted to be President, the more attractive they were to the people. They feared nothing more than becoming King of America. That is why I say they were so great, and I am speaking as a member of the people. I am not anybody special. What the world needs now is more humility. If any of our leaders pretend to be noble, we should knock them on their ass like the bums they are.
