28. Nope. I saw the truck drive past camp 1.
Regarding my experience, you haven't lived until you've watched middle-aged women stick their tongue out at you while driving by in a church bus. Mind you, I had no sign, was dressed completely nondescriptly, and merely waved and smiled without any attempt at derision or sarcasm as people went by. It drove them nuts.

2. This is a joke, right?

4. Not a joke!
I saw this thing twice, once at the ranch where the big pro war party was on Saturday & then on Sunday when they were hauling it off. They took up the whole damn road so I had to pull my shuttle off the road to Camp 1 to let them pass. Turns out they also had a corny dog stand.

And get this: they charged for all that stuff AND for parking too!!!! NO ONE at the Camps or Peace House was charged for any food, parking, water, or other necessities. And we had better digs & grub too!!! Says a whole lot right there.

supply & demand. for the same reason, the hotel rates in waco along hwy 84 went up significantly for this past weekend. folks see a way to make a buck & do. that's how the system works.

17. Seriously?
Wow, and I agree. That says a lot. Wow. I wonder where all the money is going to. Can you imagine what the right would be saying if Camp Casey did that?

16. Yes, amidst much worry then hilarity from Camp 1 people
There was an alert when this pulled in late Fri evening, looked like a convoy with some sort of huge truck/van/bus up the hill. "holy mother of god, what the hell is that?!" was the comment I recall when someone noticed it. Binoculars came out, kids sent to bed, much discussion about safety tactics for Sat/Sun. The next morning it was revealed to be a lemonade and corn dog truck to much snorting and headshaking and chuckling. Yup, welcome to IM4W world. Never forget 911 (had nothing to do with Iraq).

By the way, I was very very very impressed by the professionality of all the volunteers at Camp Casey, keeping everyone healthy and safe and peaceful.

20. if he's referring to us then
(1) everyone &
(2) no one.

which is why on saturday & sunday evenings, all the pro war folks "clocked out" (apparently, they weren't going to get 'overtime') while the peace folks kept on at camps 1 & 2.

19. Makes perfect sense. Chickenhawk's version of "war profiteering".
Now that I think for a moment, it's almost POETIC.

Thanks for the PIC!
I had heard a "hot dog stand" mentioned in reports,
but I really never imagined THIS!

Typical inhuman Repukes
A Repuke could see someone get mugged and then while they were dying, steal their kidneys and siphon off all the blood for profit.

29. I didn't see any Haliburton markings on the truck
I can't remember what the truck said, either it was nothing at all, or some local vendor of, well, corndog stands for the right wing.

The only corporate truck I saw used by them was a FedEx truck delivering water and some other stuff.

It was coming back from junior's ranch where he threw a thank you picnic for the msm. And he only charged them for the corn dogs...the lemonade was on the house.
