Remember this when he runs for President that he wants to give our good old Buddy George Allen a free pass

4. Tim Kaine
If he loses the governor's race, he should give it a shot. I'm almost hoping he does...because statistics show if you lose a governor's race you win the Senate race. (Jim Talent, etc)

6. I want Kaine in the governor's mansion not the senate
I want Kaine to defeat Kilgore. Kilgore would be a terrible governor. I think Claudia Kennedy or James Webb might do it but it's all speculation.

7. I agree on Kilgore...but
If we are to regain the Senate, how on earth can we do that without running VIABLE Candidates?

Do you agree...that if Kaine loses that he should run for Senate?

10. Maybe
I don't think he would want to anyway. It is only one year apart and against a more formidable opponent.

2. Is there any other possible Dem in VA?
George Allen is the BIGGEST DOOFUS ever ... How ANYONE could take him seriously as a prez candidate is beyond me. Somebody ought to take him out of the Senate.

5. He's not going to get the nomination
He should have just made himself useful and ran for the Senate. Hopefully Tim Kaine will run if he loses the Governor's race, so Allen doesn't get a free ride.

9. So he will wait until 2008 to challenge George Allen....
In 2008 Virgina may be ground zero of electoral math...

11. Keep an eye on that
You could be right. Any idea on why Ohio was chosen this past year? Maybe there could be clues to be learned and the people can be beaten.
