ABC Family added disclaimer to 700 Club
I guess legally ABC Family can't get rid of Robertson because of the sale of the contract. Personally I think this should be flashed BEFORE the show and during every commericial break - but at least it's a start!

Following Robertson's call for Chavez's assassination, ABC Family added disclaimer to 700 Club

The cable channel ABC Family has changed the disclaimer at the end of its telecasts of the Christian Broadcasting Network's (CBN) The 700 Club. The disclaimer now reads, "The preceding CBN telecast does not reflect the views of ABC Family." On August 26, ABC Family's post-700 Club graphic read "The proceeding program was brought to you by CBN." The new disclaimer appeared on August 29 following host Pat Robertson's call on August 22 for the assassination of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez:

5. By breaking the law
when he advocated the violent overthrow of a democratically elected leader of a foreign country. If one of us ever did that we would be in jail right now.

3. That station is a little weird
A few days ago, they had their "Back to School" movie.

Which one?

Cruel Intentions.

It struck me as completely odd.

6. same here
My sister mentioned that when we were going around the stations that night. The connection had completely gone by me before she mentioned it.

The best part was that the scene it was on when we turned to the channel was one where Gellar's character is straddling Philippe's on the bed. Aren't they supposed to be like half- or step-siblings?

ABC Family: Scenes of incest interspersed with calls for the assassination of world leaders. Brought to you by Disney.

7. I noticed that - I wonder if they cut the Blair-Gellar kiss
that was a pretty steamy scene amongst other things in that movie.

BTW, I adore that movie! I was always a big fan of Dangerous Liasions and I thought they did a great day modern version of the book/movie. Plus I've always been a big fan of both Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillipe (A native Delawarean!). Sarah Michelle Gellar doesn't do anything for me but she was pretty darn good as the vicious Catherine Muertril (The Glenn Close role)
