by ONE STINKING DAY! And, IMHO, he's been on vacation since he took office. "Give me a speech to read about what you all are doing, so I can go on TV and PRETEND to care about those people." And, all the damned freepers who are saying: "It's their own fault"--what are you going to say when disaster strikes you and your family? Jackasses.

could he have done that on Saturday when we knew all this was going to happen? NOOOOO.. Its like his lame response to the Tsunami, it took tons of other world leaders and Clinton to do it it first and for him to digest his Christmas Turkey.

17. OMG, he has to cut a 5 week vacation short by 1 stinking day.. |
|
boooohoooooo, we should all feel so damned sorry for him, shouldn't we? I still say that it would have been easier to get the people who are in the Superdome out of Dodge before it happened, instead of having to wait weeks for the flood-waters to recede. But, of course, most of those poor folk probably vote for Democrats. (sarcasm)---if it had been rich campaign donors stuck down there....I'm just sayin'.

9. Somebody on Morning Sedition said it's only 1 Foot above |
|
Don't believe the 20 foot thing as gospel. According to the show, somebody was out measuring yesterday and it was only a foot above.
This ties into the head of the SuperDome who on several different interviews wouldn't comment if the Dome could withstand the hurricane.

This is why on Sunday I was yelling on this board that they should have been sending in city buses to drive all those people lined up at the Superdome out of the city. That the Superdome was not a safe place to be even if the building survived the storm. The streets around the Dome were empty on Sunday it would have been a difficult job but it could have been done. Now we have a real mess that could have been mitigated if not avoided all together.
