freepers acknowledge poor Fox News coverage

To: My Favorite Headache

I've found CNN to have much better coverage than the other two stations. After Shep's attitude yesterday, and the guy standing out in the storm like a giddy teenager, I started watching CNN and found them much more informative, with better info and better video.

I again started with Fox this AM and was a little disgusted this AM at the jovial attitude on Fox and Friends, so I switched over to CNN again (something I usually never do.)

Then I saw that anti-war commercial and thought I'd switch back to Fox, only to see the same commercial on Fox...so I'm back to CNN.

Fox sucks unless it's about a tabloid news feature....witht he only exception of Brit Hume, Sean Hannity, weekday a.m. coverage (i.e., Fox and Friends), and Gibson.

For tragedies, there's no point trying to get news from Fox, because they won't cover it unless it's got something to do with a car chase, sniper, or has the name OJ, Scott, or Aruba.

CNN has been giving excellent coverage.

Yes they have; I've been watching their coverage...after getting disgusted with non-coverage by Fox.

I am watching CNN.

Fox frankly sucks at this story.

They need some better people and some SERIOUS, MAJOR training on how to cover breaking news.

Shoddiness really comes through when you take the politics out.

3. "Training."
The lack of it really shows, doesn't it?

I never thought freepers would be smart enough to figure that out, though.

7. That is hilarious!!!
When they want real news, they have to turn off FUX News. Ha Ha. But, you can be sure they will turn it back on as soon as they need their pro shrub fix.

9. not usually a place for humor, those threads
but this time, its great! I liked

"more informative, with better info and better video"

... i've been saying that for years! Sometimes there is a moment of clarity, and these guys seem to have just experienced one.

12. Ted Turner criticized CNN
for trying to be like FOX. So they straightened up and now they are getting back on track. Good for them.
