I'm going to do my patriotic duty this weekend - who's with me? |

We're staying home, instead of going to Vermont as we had planned.
It's not that we can't afford it; gas would have to get up to ten bucks a gallon or so for the cost to be a concern for us, and our family car gets 30-plus MPG on the highway, so it's not like we'd use all that much.
But if we took that trip just for the hell of it with what's going on in the country right now, I'd feel, I don't know, I guess kind of ashamed, using fuel that other people need a lot more than I do.
Agree or disagree as desired.

I had plans myself and I cancelled them last night. Involved a 700+ mile road trip and a lot of gasoline and spending money I really don't have to spend anyway. I contributed to the hurricane relief instead this a.m.
I think I'll just stay home for a long while here and hope and pray that others that are less fortunate than myself will be ok and that goes for everyone on the planet!

We are staying home and doing what ever it takes to undermine this criminal govt. And writting a check (even though it may be small) to the Red Cross.

I wonder what the heck we're going to do with our cars when gas gets too expensive. We sure as Hell won't be able to sell them.
I'm betting a racket will form requiring car owners to pay to dispose of them.
