Has anyone heard of problems with Alligators and snakes from Katrina? |
|
I overheard someone at the store talking about it, but haven't seen anything on the news

swimming around New Orleans.

The story played it up like it was some collosus. I believe they refered to it as "cruising the streets." Like the little guy was freaking Jaws or something.

I've been to the aquarium and they have many things you wouldn't want in the water (piranhas come to mind)

9. I really wonder about alligators in the real bayou areas |
|
That would be so absolutely scary........... I also know there are moccasins in that area.
I just can't imagine having to deal with so many sad, scary and uncomfortable things at once.

I do know that I spent the day hoping at least some of those looters either had a snake curl around their ankles or literally came face to face with an alligator.
