National Guard Numbers

Folks are already trying to go to the damage control on the Iraq/National Guard situation. They are claiming that since only 30-35 percent of Louisiana National Guard troops are in Iraq, they have enough to handle things at home.

Wouldn't it be nice to have 100 percent at home? Those 3000 extra guardsmen could really come in handy. It's a pretty big area that's been effected -- New Orleans, Slidell, the coastline, etc.
