The National Guard was sent to Iraq.

11. I'm worried about the soldiers in Iraq who have family
in New Orleans. Think they might bring them home so they can work in their home when it is so desperately needed?

Yes. Unless the military has established a block on news from home, imagine the state of mind that anyone with close relatives in the hurricane area must be going through right now.

Will Bush bring them back? No. That would create an impediment to his great and wonderful master plan :sarcasm: and he simply won't do it.

10. For one, had friends staying in a hotel....it was looted including...
all their belongings. A policeman was shot and killed. And several home residences (with people living in them) on the WB have been broken into by armed looters. Its approaching anarchy down there.
