3. Just a thought, but... |
|
has it crossed anyone else's mind that this would be a wonderful opportunity for a terrorist strike, while our attention and resources are focused on the Katrina disaster?
That scenario keeps rolling around in the back of my mind. Perhaps I'm getting paranoid in my old age?

What was I thinking? Does it occur to any other people here that we as a group come up with better plans, more viable solutions than the idiot-for-brains government? Maybe we should handle things while they raise money, play golf and eat freaking cake!

Asian Tsunami??
At first dimSON bushie offered what? a few thousand and then upped it to a few million and THEN sent in the US Navy carriers?
I really don't think he has bothered to understand what the hell happened to the Gulf States. Between riding his bikie and playing golf and raising money for his rich buddies -- he just doesn't have the time to look at a map to see where New Orleans is.
Anyway -- ONLY FOUR SHIPS? ONLY FOUR??? DO YOU ALL KNOW HOW MANY DAMN SHIPS AND BOATS THE DAMNED US NAVY HAS?????????
Big fucking deal.
Oh I forgot -- the guys in the back room are trying to figure out how to funnel money to their pet companies -- until that is done people can just drown or die.

Amphibious Ships: USS Bataan (LHD 5) - Disaster Relief, Gulf of Mexico USS Nassau (LHA 4) - Atlantic Ocean USS Boxer (LHD 4) - Pacific Ocean USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7) - Atlantic Ocean USS Austin (LPD 4) - Atlantic Ocean USS Dubuque (LPD 8) - Pacific Ocean USS Whidbey Island (LSD 41) - Atlantic Ocean USS Gunston Hall (LSD 44) - Gulf of Aden USS Tortuga (LSD 46) - Atlantic Ocean USS Harpers Ferry (LSD 49) - Pacific Ocean USS Carter Hall (LSD 50) - Atlantic Ocean
Where are all the small boats that the Navy has?? I know about this fleet because I spent a whole year going across Pearl Harbor riding on various US Navy boats used to ferry us across Pearl Harbor.
