Iconoclast: Last night at Camp Casey

7 p.m.
Gene Ellis reporting for The Iconoclast

A dinner was held tonight at Camp Casey II to thank the volunteers. Dismantling of both camps is under way. Many unused supplies, tarps, and tents will go to the New Orleans area to assist in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. These items will be tranported by veterans.

Buses will leave Wednesday from Camp Casey II at approximately 10:30 a.m. Volunteers are being asked to remain in the area through Thursday or Friday until the land is left as it was.

7. I was wondering too
Seems a shame to let it be the place locals spit tobacco juice...but maybe they'll put it behind barbed wire!
