1. Demand a windfall profits tax.
NO ONE should get rich on human despair.

6. Nonetheless, demand it.
They are unwilling to sacrifice their children for their country. Is it too much to sacrifice some of their excessive money to save someone else's children?

Keep saying it.

8. You are preaching to the choir, my friend. I say NATIONALIZE the
entire petroluem industry and infrastucture. Institute MASSIVE petroleum windfax profits tax. And structure it to be able to collect in arrears. exxon/mobile has done a great disservice to this country and planet. It's high time they paid for their greed and hubris.

3. It's time to nationalize the oil industry. We have a national crisis. Once
we stabalize, they can have it back.

7. NO. It's too important a national interest to be in private hands.
Nationalize immediately.

(Okay, I'm grinning just saying that. Can you IMAGINE?)

10. Stupid Republican corporate logic.
They think while they are price gouging us that it will make more profits. The truth is that, like in my case, I will be driving less. I will no doubt spend the same amount on gas, but it won't be more so they really won't have any gains in income. There might be a gain in gross income over cost, but the slow down negates that.
