CRAWFORD, Texas - A woman who led an anti-war protest for nearly a month near President Bush's ranch said Tuesday that she's glad Bush never showed up to discuss her son's death in Iraq, saying the president's absence "galvanized the peace movement."

EDIT: OOPS. I think it was Bill Maher. Thanks, SFK.

4. This is a BAD message to send.
It makes Camp Casey look like a publicity stunt.

Had it been phrased something like "While I'm very disappointed that the President wouldn't speak to me, his refusal has helped galvanize the growing protest movement.", that would have been fine.

Spending weeks telling the media you want to talk to the President and then saying you're glad he didn't show up sounds BAD.

5. Then we frame it as it should be
Bush is the cause of the cause. If he had met with Cindy when it was just her and her sister out there the story would have died. It's only after he made apparent his true colors that the spark started catching into the unquenchable flame it is today. Let it grow. Burn baby burn!!!
