It appears that the LOOP is undamaged
So far I've seen only one reference, KATC in Louisiana.

"NEW YORK The Louisiana Offshore Oil Port did NOT suffer major damage as a result of Hurricane Katrina.

And a port official says the flow of oil could resume within "a matter of hours" once its power supply is restored.

A LOOP spokesman says that while both offshore and onshore operations remain suspended, the major hurdle to resuming operations appears to be lack of power."

1. Not so sure about that..
Check over at http://www.peakoil.com/ Their forums are very informative. Too much info to start randomly cutting and pasting. See 'current events' Don't look good, if ya ask me.
