Corporate help for Katrina disaster? |
|
Is anyone seeing any corporations step in to help with the devastation caused by Katrina?
What about those oil companies that own refineries near NO, are they doing anything useful?
And the neocons want to do what? Privatize everything?
I've emailed Ebay, Amazon, and Paypal, requesting that they put a link to the Am. Red Cross on their homepages ... nothing so far. Perhaps they need a bit more encouragement.
If you have any suggestions on how to put pressure on the super-rich corporate world to be more socially responsible, please post ... my brain is too numb right now to come up with any ideas.

but I don't know if the plan is to give it away or sell it. Generac is expecting to sell every generator it can manufacture.
