Gas tax
Hey I have an idea. The federal tax on gas is 18.4 cpg and each state's tax rate varies.

Check prices here: http://api-ec.api.org/filelibrary/mft%2001%2013%2005.pdf

Why don't we start a grassroots effort to get Congress to lower the taxes on gas to help out the common folk?

1. It's not the taxes, it's AWOL Bush's greedy oil buddies who are
raping the american tax payers. there's no reason for prices to be high.. they manufactured this "crisis" just like Enron manufactured the power "crisis" in California in 2001.

taxes could be totally eliminated on gasoline, but the oil companies would just raise the prices higher..

didn't AWOL Bush say invading Iraq would mean cheaper gas for us all? the oil is free for the taking for u.s. oil companies, but instead of passing on the "savings" they decided to charge 3 times as much.. oil profits haven't been this high EVER!!!

and AWOL Bush sits on his hands and takes his 5 week long vacation like the pussy he is..

3. it will be interesting to see if these refineries pulled a 9/11 scam
You know, too expensive to replace the buildings/ refineries, need a big tragedy. But with disaster, free money comes in. Woohoo!

Did these refineries try to sell off their supplies ahead of the hurricane to avoid losses? Did the barges get filled and marched out to safer waters? Or is this just another huge bamboozling windfall fleece the sheeple ploy for the Bushites?
