RW - Spin Is Coming....preemptive spin strike |
|
With Bush's comments yesterday in San Diego on calling for continued public support for the war in Iraq while New Orleans drowns...it seems likly the next "talking points" from the WH and RW ditto heads will be:
"This was an act of god and the we have to cope with these but not to let nature's fury detract us from the goal of spreading freedom."
So there you go...I'm predicting the spin.
The RW will play the "god's will" card on Katrina....and the media will run with it.
Focusing on how people of faith will come together in a time of crisis all the while saying how it all fits into supporting freedom for Iraq without really saying how...
I don't really care what they say anymore because America is not going to go along with it.
It is so clear what needs to be done. Rally support saving the people of New Orleans, Biloxi, Gulf Port, our national heritage, one of our most beloved cities.
Not just writing it off as a "act of god" and go about the business of continuing the drum beat for more war. that strategy lead to the disaster the people of New Orleans is experiencing.
Bush neglected his first priority. To ensure the safety and security of the American citizens from REAL threats.
While we are at it make sure people to slam Rick Santorum for his law he introduced that will hand over control of the National Weather Service to Accuweather. Another BIG STUPID MISTAKE...as bad as shifting funding for the NOLA Levee District Cat 5 upgrades to the war on terror.
I'm scared, sad and pissed off.

1. Let them spin it, it just backfires!!! |
|
They are going to say it was an act of god and be right, the global warming god for our greed and dependance on oil.....
Their oil refineries were ruined, and for their further arrogant spin of this being an act of god Texas could be ruined too, as most of the seriously hit disaster areas are now destroying southern conservatives homes everywhere....Trent Lott's home is no more.
I mean, this is going to be interesting...

2. I don't think America's buying it |
|
anymore.
58% of this country is off the koolaide.
Now add another million or percent to that mix for the folk in NO who have to fight to get food while chimp fiddles with a guitar.
