How to respond to "We won. Get over it!"
Quite frequently, we get responses from repugnuts that they won the election, they get to make the decisions, and we should get over it.

Well, here's the response to that: "Democracy doesn't end on Election Day." That is, the election isn't the final word on policy decisions. Citizens don't go to sleep (or at least they shouldn't do that) the day after the election and release all power to elected dictators.

I wrote a blog article just after the election last year on this topic: A Tip to the Politically Defeated: Democracy Doesn't End on Election Day

(Note: I haven't been a very prolific blogger, I admit. I have lots of ideas for articles, but little time as I try to build a freelance web dev business)

3. I start by asking them their opinions on Clinton's presidency
That usually exposes the hypocrisy pretty damn quickly.

6. They didn't win, and I will most certainly not "get over it."
I was told this in 2000, and again in 2004, and I ignored it both times. They "won" by defrauding the people of the United States.

7. My response is generally something along the lines of
"Congratulations, but winning a load of shit isn't that much of a win. Once you realize what you've contributed to, come see me and we'll start a real dialogue."

Tell the folks in New Orleans to "get over it" why don't you. Their loss is on YOUR head.

12.  Good, now we agree the failings
Good, now we agree the failings of the last five years are your fault.
1) Osama Bin Laden? Have you guys found him yet? You guys claim to be tough on crime yet a guy who masterminds the murder of 3,000 Americans is sending us vacation photos.
2) How about that Runaway spending and Federal Deficit - Can't blame the Liberals for that!
3) Stock Market's been going nowhere
4) And those six months in Iraq seem to be going real slow.
and so forth...

15. We don't get over it: we plan for victory next time.
Every victory contains the seeds of defeat; every defeat contains the seeds of victory. We learn, we plan, we organize and next time, we win.
