As much as I want our spineless Democratic leaders to untuck the tail between their legs, this is one time I hope they'll STFU.

If I hear one more Dem (both Joes) talk about how we have to "work together", I may scream.

Not that we don't have to come together to help NO -- we do -- but the moment we turn our back on 'em, that's when Karl the Shiv will stick a knife in our backs. Hell, they're doing it already. They're trying to use this an excuse to kill the Clean Air Act, the shameless bastards. I shudder to guess how many times Chicken George will try to link this to Iraq tonight.

This is one time we really, really need a shadow government to show some leadership. Of course, that would mean we'd have to have leaders . . .
