This is what lying will do to a nation
If you adjust prices and such, we are paying the same price for gas that we did back in the 80's, maybe even more. That is how bad it is. There's just one exception, the Bush god Squad have been saying "It's all good" this whole time.

Bush and Friends let this fester upon our nation for too long, a crisis of never before seen proportions is inevitable.

3. The seeds were sown by raygun - the selfish attitude he exuded...
and emulated by millions of Americans and intensified by Bush is destroying America.

7. Unfortunately, Americans get pounded into their head since birth that this
is the greatest country on earth, but quite frankly I don't think it is. This is a county filled with ego-centric people that only care about themselves and are lining their pockets at the expense of others. There are many who don't give a damn about the poor, the elderly, or children etc. and that attitude is reflected in American politics. This country definately does not take care of its people compared to other western countries. I have been here for 30 years and ready to go back, because I'm not quite sure that it's a good place to be as once gets older.

4. Actually, it's worse.
If you adjust for inflation,
the bottom half of our population
is earning LESS than they were in the 80s.

11. How about calling social safety net programs like disaster planning "pork"
And paying pseudo-experts to lie and say "There's no such thing as global warming".

That's even worse, IMNSHO, because it dooms future generations to pay for our current insane society.
