1. TOO F****** LATE!!!!
He should have taken command on SUNDAY night instead of going to fundraisers and playing the GUITAR while PEOPLE DIED.

18. I LIKE THAT!
Instead of the slogan "bush lied, people died" How about "Bush pretended to play guitar for a photo op at what turned out to be a cheap fund raising event while a helpless musician looked on...and people died."

What do you think? Too wordy?

7. Exactly!
Of all the countries in the world, the United States should best we able to respond to such a disaster.

It's shameful and outrageous.

10. and that number is growing
MSNBC was very sympathetic this morning when they said that Bush was cutting his lazy-ass vacation short by THREE days. Pretty soon they'll cry the blues that he had to cut it short by five days...or a week..

How manipulative to pad the number of days he's losing from a FIVE WEEK vacation just to make it look like he's 'sacrificing' something.

12. They gave him CREDIT for complete failure
so it isn't surprising that they would give him credit for acts of nature. Seriously someone wake me up when this is over.

11. A captain goes down with his ship. * will hire that role out.
As if any more were needed, add the Hurricane Katrina disaster and the patchwork response to the list of impeachable offenses.

15. Aren't people frightened enough?
I think that was cruel of Wolf Blitzer. People are still reeling from catastrophic loss, and he then stupidly suggests that the guy who sent the US Army to Iraq is going to take control of the NOLA catastrophe. Be afraid.
