Taking (virtual) bets - does he mention Iraq during his "speech" at 5?
If so, when?

Does he equate NO with 9/11?

Does he mention the National Guard?

Does he fall down?

2. I think he will mention them both
And then connect them both together, saying that it is our duty as Americans to take care of both.

Twisted, sick logic.

I don't give a damn what he or his administration say, he has blood on his hands in all of this. We knew this could happen and they did nothing, they took the money away and sent it to Iraq.

7. Wouldn't it be nice
if bush could show as much concern about the welfare of the citizens of the United States as he does about the people of Iraq?

something like "America grieves for the victims of this devastating tragidy....But as we learned after 9/11 Americas courage and determination to be free is not easily overcome... We will work to secure and rebuild the nations our oil infrastrucute...that why we have to stay the course in iraq ... freedom ... oil ... iraq .... 9/11 ... goodnight and god bless"

Edited on Wed Aug-31-05 03:43 PM by rateyes
how he's gonna release oil reserves..cause I care about you (and Halliburton) ...got to secure Iraq so that OBL doesn't get his hands on Iraq's oil...got to drill in ANWR...got to "stay the course" (on our way to hell--my edit)---God bless the people in the RED states of AL, MISS, LA--(Why is it freepers saying NO getting punished for being "sin city"--why is Biloxi and Gulfport and Mobile and points in between being punished--maybe for voting for *)---One thing about it--anyone who knows the truth, if they listen to the speech, will not be able to hold down their lunch and/or supper tonight. Then, when he's finished speaking, he'll probably go take a ride on his mountain-bike. Or go play a little guitar. "I'm a pickin' and a grinnin'"

19. The Chimperor will mention both Iraq and 9/11
Those are his only talking points. One bungled disaster after another on the watch of the Moran Prince. He probably won't actually fall down, though.

Side bet - will he grin like a foolish ape when talking about NOLA?

21. I say he mentions
9-11 three times and will tout homeland security 8 times in his short speech from the WH rose garden no less.

When I read that he is going to have the press conference from the rose garden the first thing that came to my mind was how inappropriate that was as a prop. Since his second term he has not bothered to conceal what a callous bastard he is.
