Incompetence and mismanagement is going to cost 100's if not 1000's of lives. People that SHOULD have been saved, that could be saved, if only enough resources had been mobilized immediately to get food and water to outlying areas. Even if evacuation took days. But there are parish officials pleading for help, for food and water. People are dying, and my heart is breaking.
