1. saw my first official over-three-bucks for regular sign
in L.A. today, driving around -- i.e., in town, that is (had seen it previously out in Malibu).

Filled up at $2.80 a gallon -- probably the last time I'll ever fill up on below-three-buck gas!

2. Just five cents?
In Harrison AR, at 7 a.m, the gas was $2.51 a gallon. At noon (samw station, the cheapest in town) it was $2.66. At 3 pm, it was up to $2.89.
