...my daughter, who just turned 18, and can still be a bit naive, bless her - was horrified about the pictures of the victims in NO and elsewhere. She was asking why the hell nobody seems to be helping these people and why we are turning away foreign aid and who all had offered to help. So, I ratteled off some Nations who have offered food and water, etc. Venezuela came up and she asked if this wasn't the guy who made an offer of cheap gas (she just recently got her license and is just bitching about gas prices) to poor Americans. I told her it was the same guy and she just flew off the handle about Bush idiocy,etc. She thought a few minutes, then said - well, hell can't we email him?
If it only were this easy!
