9. WAIT
I heard the Homeland Security director on NPR at around 6:00 this evening saying they didn't Know anything 'bout no starving people at the coliseum. Said it was all "rumours".

The NPR guy told him he had their journalist on the OTHER LINE telling him - there are 2000 people here NO FOOD and NO WATER!!! A little bit later after the interview, the NPR guy said thd Homeland Security guys ASSISTANT called back to say, oh yeah, he got a phone call confirming some of what you said and we'll get right on that.

Now FEMA is saying they "don't know". BS!

what a clusterf this is.

12. Am watching...Paula is calling him on his shit
He said they didn't know about the people at the convention center until TODAY!! It has been reported about the people there since YESTERDAY!

However, she ALLOWED him to still use the word "CHOICE" again, even after calling him on the mentality of blaming the victim. I know she's limited on time to get all the people lined up for getting in on the show.

CNN!! Keep it up! Call these people on their BS each and every time!

13. Hmm, ever notice how the Bush admin. always has an excuse
for why it's not their fault. Why nothing is ever their fault. Mostly they just have excuses for everything and no accountability! So this "no fault" government doesn't seem very sane to me. Hurricanes are not the governments fault. Being ill prepared for them is. Overspending elsewhere is. Lack of leadership once they occur is. Always it's not their fault. Who will be held accountable for the numerous and colossal failures of the Bush administration? That's the 64 million dollar question.

18. These assholes are the masters of "it's not my fault"
anyone else notice that? I live about 60 miles inland, on the Gulf. My take on the situation is if the next hurricane hits here, we're completely on our own. Anyone else get that impression?
