I think he has a different emotional investment than Oprah might.
Oprah gives a lot of money to various charities. Can anyone say for certain she has done or will do nothing? Why is she being called out in particular? There are lots of wealthy, influential celebrities to choose from.

Obviously the Chimp-in-chief and the government has failed. Yeah it's crazy to turn to a talk show host but she has a lot of money and resources and she could do a better job than the vacationing president and theater-going shoe-shopping secretary of state.

She gives away cars to her audience. Well, these people need cars to get out of there - after they get essential water, food and medicine.
We have waited for the government to help. It's not happening. Let's get the multi millionaires to do what the Bush government won't do. Face it. They aren't going to help these people for at least a week.

|
At least Oprah did spend the money on cars for other people. Most multi-millionaires don't even think of giving their money away unless there is something in it for them.
Oprah is involved in a lot of charities and foundations especially for education. She really isn't required to give anything away though. It's our governments job to stop giving these ultra rich big tax breaks, then the money can be put into social programs to help the poor and destitute.
