Katrina = Global Warming ?

http://www.commondreams.org/views05/0830-22.htm

In 1995, public utility hearings in Minnesota found that the coal industry had paid more than $1 million to four scientists who were public dissenters on global warming. And ExxonMobil has spent more than $13 million since 1998 on an anti-global warming public relations and lobbying campaign.

2. Yes, I fear that is exactly the case. Who knows how long before the
next big hurricane? NOLA could get hit again this summer.

4. Now, now, GPV; anywhere on the gulf will, not might,
get hit. No guarantee it will be this big, but they are getting bigger. And global warming is a big culprit. Look at Portugal and Sweden/Switzerland? this summer. Portugal was burning up with fires due to the dryness while northern Europe dealt with unimaginable flooding. Things are changing, and not for the better.

5. Unbelievable, but there are people
who dont believe that like libertarians and conservatives. They see this as a threat to their way of life where liberals will take away their SUV's.
