Regarding all these threads about removing Chimp from office |
|
First of all..... how it is possible, with the Repukes controlling all branches of government?
Secondly..... consider the alternative.... Crashcart, or even worse.... Dennis Asstert?
I want Chimpy removed as much as anyone else.... but could someone enlighten me how this can be accomplished?

5. Step 1 is winning back the congress next year. |
|
Regarding the succession issue, yeah it sucks. But I really think Cheney has had it. Has not been seen in weeks and this ius a major disaster.
So we would end up with Hastert who is certainly a rethug hack. But he would definitely tread carefully with an opposition congress in that kind of situation.

wondering, They stole the election? How'd that happen? We never could have anticipated that.
My recommendation: Buy a pistol, rifle, lots of rounds and a vest. We'll be facing a well armed, well financed private army. They're training them in Iraq right now.
Observe the tactics the Iraqi's are using to fight back against Blackwater and learn. If you haven't already, make peace with those who have vexed you in the past, you will need them as allies.
Continue to network and consider forming cells. If you can't stomach what I advise then roll over, your already dead.

If, *if*, enough of the remaining moderate Republicans watch enough of the coverage of the New Orleans disaster to be appalled at the failure of leadership it shows, and *if* the Democrats are willing to do the right thing, they could exert pressure on Bush and Cheney to resign and to name competent and trustworthy replacements. I think that's a more likely scenario than House impeachment proceedings.
I would seriously suggest that people write their Senators, Republican or Democrat, making a case for this. Even if they're incorrigible Bush-ites: they need to hear the anger of their constituents, too.

10. Fill the DC Mall with people demanding resignation/impeachment |
|
If that could be organized Congress would be motivated to do its duty and remove Bush as manifestly unfit. They would do so out of the soundest, oldest motive known to lawmakers: fear of the People.

1. Indict all involved in the Plame outing for Treason. 2. Allow Sibel Edmonds her day in court. Hastert, among unknown numbers of others, goes down. 3. Indict Tom Delay. 4. Take back Congress in 2006. A much likelier possibility with each passing day and disaster, both natural and unnatural.
There are many other items to add to the list, especially if you go to the state level in Ohio, Kentucky, and now Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama.

14. Impeachment is a process that requires an event that snaps support |
|
The grossly inadequate preparation for an event like Katrina is likely to generate that.
The failure to prevent disasterous development after crises is a pattern in this administration. The federal government's response to the aftermath of Katrina was about as well planned for as the occupation of Iraq.

We have to get rid of him. When that happens, we go after all of them one by one. Nothing happens when you put your hands in your pockets and walk away because the pile seems too big. Look at what others have done? Look at how the people of Serbia got rid of Milosevic and the circumstances were pretty much the same. One dictator, one party and all his minions running everything.
