The on location reporters are looking a little frayed. |

Even Brian Williams is toned down.
I remember how perky these folks were in their pre hurricane delivery. Even early Tues. morning, it was primarily "disaster as backdrop" reporting.
Now, day 5, they are starting to have the :wtf: glaze. And, they are seeming to be genuinely moved by the situation the people of the Gulf Coast are facing.
BTW,my hands down favorite away-from-the-scene anchor is Olbermann. He has tapped into the humanity of this crisis.
It's hard to be perkily promoting the bfee when babies die in front of you. MKJ
edited for spelling of Olberman's name. Never mind, I think I had it right the first time.

3. You Expect Any Less Than Excellence From Olbermann? |
|
He was basically the only MSM to discuss the Election FRAWD on a nightly basis. Too bad his ratings are dwarfed by idiots like hannity & limbaugh.

I'm frayed and emotionally worn out and I don't have to actually be there in person to get that way. Just seeing it on TV, seeing the pictures, and reading about it is enough to get to me.
Are these people only half-human or something?

5. because they are one with the victims |
|
they are victims too, and they know it. Like the embeds in Iraq, who identified with the troops, the on scene people are embedded with the refugees. Thats why it's getting real. For once.

7. That's right, they've experienced this alongside the victims. |
|
Although, they have air conditioned vehicles and well stocked supplies.
That said, I can't believe that these are people totally devoid of humanity, and seeing what they've seen, well, it shows in their reporting. MKJ
