Am I insane or did the casualty list shrink?!

I checked this a.m., as every day, and I would swear the toll was 1884. I changed the number in my car window.

It now says 1882.

Am I missing something? Are we counting backward now?
If anyone understands or remembers 1882 as the count rather than the 1884 I believe it was I sure would appreciate it.

its happened before. Two reports that initially sound different turn out to be the same KIA.

4. checked my # from this am, was 1884

I looked at the months stats and I can't remember from this morning if there were more in the last couple days or not. Maybe they miscounted and corrected it? Check in a couple days when Sept 1 casualties come in. I had 1884 for sure this am. odd.

8. Maybe it was a corrected double count but

the numbers over the last couple weeks haven't been seeming to match the reports I've seen. I read many enews letters each day and keep a count in my head. Wish I had been writing it down. Damn.
I'm going to start writing it all down.

I'd like to get many people to put the numbers on the back window of their vehicles. It needs to be rubbed in their faces every day!

I have 1884 DEAD FOR LIES on mine. Small town and I quit caring what anyone may think here a long time ago.:evilgrin:
