After 9/11 everyone rallied behind Bush's bullshit...the pseudo-patriotism, his crocodile tears, "god bless America!"

They're not buying into it this time. Every since 9/11 I'd wondered how people would react if someone like it happened again. Now we know.

The HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS who are trapped in NOLA know first hand that Bush has done nothing at all to help. PLUS all of their friends and family. PLUS all the people who know someone who has already died.

"Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me...you can't get fooled again." Bush's own words come back to bite him in the ass.

2. Nope. He will never go below 35 percent. Dittoheads.
And, the crowd who is certain the Earth is 6,000 years old. That 35 percent will never be shaken; he could set up gas ovens and they would go down the line for him.

3. I don't think he will get a bump from this
even his right wing talking heads are ragging on him--i.e.Scarbough(sp?) and Tucker.

He better give the speech of his life tomorrow. All those hungry, thirsty people and Chimp's in California celebrating VJ day with his buddy McCain.

6. I don't want to hear anything this moron has to say..
the only thing I want is for those dying elderly people and babies and everyone in that dome and on top of roofs and in attics to have food and water and a hope at surviving.

* and company have proven very clearly that they care absolutely NOTHING about these poor, mostly brown and black people. My heart literally hurts tonight. I've given to the Red Cross. But I feel so helpless and a deep hurt like I've never felt before.

I care not to hear anything the pResident has to say tomorrow. No megaphone or rah rah america speech will make this situation any better. Actions, in this case, have spoken much louder than any words he can utter.

7. shame
Over on another blog I read a comment by what is probably a kool-aid mixer citing a CBS poll showing 54% approval for the chimperors handling of this crisis. I did some preliminary looking and couldn't find any references to any CBS poll that recent so unless one of our more well-informed DUer post confirmation I'm writing that off as the delusional wishful thinking-sort of a semi-polite way of saying outright lie- of yet another chimperor asskisser. Otherwise except for the fact that americans are generally a complacent lot until they're directly affected this haphazard almost to the point of criminally stupid reaction to this tragedy had ought to get the chimperor impeached if not tarred and feathered and run out of town on a rail and the whole of his misadministration with him, how it will affect his poll numbers I'm not sure but I can't believe it'll help. Can you tell I'm POed.

8. The REAL base is about 20 percent
There's another 15 percent who WERE in it for the cheap gas for their rolling penis augmentors. It'll be easy to pick them off. It's already started.
